  Wildlife on the Cut

Normally, when we are on the English narrow and broad canals, we see a lot of wildlife. On this cruise, in more open water, we expected not see the "usual" species, but provide a list of others, showing the difference between the two styles of habitat. As it turned out, there was a distinct lack of "special" wildlife - no Red Deer, not even any Hairy Coos! (highland cattle) - and what we did see was similar to normal.
